Right today (one day after making the Video showing the CRT-Monitor) A neighbour brought this Flatscreen-Monitor. It went completely dead, not even the Standby LED was on any more. Before bringing it to a recycling station I take out some components still being useful for me!!! I do this with any electrical devices like these I can get on “garbage days” that we have here especially for bigger items and electrical devices.
