The Screen Scene
Regardless of what one’s favorite viewing pleasure is - the quality of the Television Screen makes all the difference. TV’s come in a variety of sizes from 13 inches to the big screen wall mount plasma screens. And the technology is growing all the time making TVs Internet ready and high definition TV formats. Screens are monitors and displays that are used to view information on laptops or desktop PCs, mobile computer accessories, digital cameras, etc.
Big TV screens are trendy today with the facility to place them anywhere within a room on the floor, its walls, or suspended from the ceiling. They can be just two inches thick and several feet wide, giving you the genuine cinematic experience while watching it. There is no need to make it to a movie theater with one of those huge projector screens in your home.
Screens - Variety in technology and its applications
The variety of technologies that monitors and displays come in is quite large and each has its own merits and demerits. The most common are the CRT or cathode ray tube, then the LCD or liquid crystal display, and the plasma display panel. LCD screens are mostly used in computers, the personal digital assistant, cell phones, TV screens etc. LCDs are slowly replacing the CRT screens, though these continue to be popular in homes, because of their cost and reliability. LCDs are energy efficient and low radiation.
Most personal computers, Televisions and other applications use flat panel displays since they are thin, light and don’t consume much power. Flat panel screens can be liquid crystal displays or plasma screens. A flat panel display device can be a liquid crystal display device, a plasma display device, or an electro luminescence device. ELDs display great color clarity and brightness with low operating voltage.
Size Matters
Generally, the larger the screen size, the more feature packed the set. For instance, the 13-inch TV is quite basic on features. But that does not necessarily mean that bigger is better picture. Picture quality relates to what is being watched and in what format it is being transmitted analog or digital signal.
While making a buying decision about which screen to buy, size is an important consideration. Depending on room size, size of screen needs to be decided. TV screens also come in a variety of shapes the conventional TV is the square shape. The integration of a digital receiver has given rise to the wide screen experience that is rectangular in shape. While wide screens are costlier than the conventional square, they are terrific for a viewer who regularly watches DVD movies. You also need to find out what inputs you need when you buy your TV. You might need a DVD player or satellite receiver as a video source. Also consider the size of screen your room can fit into it. Researching and comparing feature by feature can be quite mind-boggling and one display may look more attractive than another in terms of picture resolution, light output, and sound quality, etc. but it is a great idea to shop around and visit the audio visual retailers in your area it can be an educative experience and cost saving as well.

Can someone help me find a scene screen name?
Okay, I'm trying to make my friend angry. Like in a fun way, so don't criticize. Can someone help me find a screen name with "scene", as in the personality type, in it? Kind of like "Oh my goth" Is a book and an sn. But I don't need it to be after a book. Thanks!
