Does anyone know why a flat top computer monitor's screen would be hazy looking and how can i fix it?
I have A gateway flat screen computer.I have notice here lately a hazy looking screen in stead of a clear screen. If you know the answer please let me know.I have tried the cleaning of the screen itself and it still looks some what out of adjustment.
Most likely it's getting Old…You can try to correct this with you screen settings via you Video card…First try you gamma setting, contrast, brightness…but as cheap as Monitors are now, you better off getting a New LCD flat screen monitor anyways…

If the screen is an LCD one, the image can appear to look hazy because its displaying a lower resolution than its natively designed to.
If you want the clearest picture, you should set the resolution to the highest your monitor can display (the native resolution). This means the resolution outputted by the computer matches the pixels on the screen
